At Kashika, the best raw ingredients are chosen and the finest ones are painstakingly selected for the grind. The nutty aroma of coriander powder wafts around the unit as the women prepare the area for sieving. Multitasking, we notice, is second nature to these women. “Baatein kum, kaam zyaada!” they mutter and laugh when prodded about meeting timelines. “Aur haan, baarish mein dhaniya mat lena peesne ke liye” another spice tip we obediently take note of. | “Chakhthe reh jaoge, humari guarantee hai”.
